Goalkeeper Braimah suffers racist abuse in Spain

Ghana goalkeeper Razak Braimah suffered racial abuse during a Spanish Segunda II match last week for his side Cordoba.
An investigative report concluded that the 26-year-old was at the receiving end of xenophobic slurs by the home fans of Linense last Sunday in their league match.
The incident lasted for an hour after the final whistle when the goalkeeper wandered around the area adjacent to the stadium and the fans made racial chants.
The police report, not the Arbitration Act, will consider the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport (Anti-Violence Committee) which requires high fines for perpetrators.
Braimah has been playing in Spain since 2007 and this is the first time he has suffered racial abuse by fans in the country.
