The Beverage Investments Ghana Limited sponsored Greater Accra Pepsi Hockey League entered the 19th Week with 6 matches on Saturday, November 9, 2002; 4 in the Men?s category, 1 in the Ladies? category and 1 in the Juvenile category. The results of the day?s matches are:

K. N. Owusu Memorial Invitational Tournament Confirmed for December

The Ghana Hockey Association has scheduled the annual K.N. Owusu invitational Hockey Tournament for 10-15 December 2002.

According to the Events and Competitions sub-committee of the Association, 6 men?s teams from 4 Regions will compete for the grand prize of a trophy and other lucrative rewards. The Regions are Greater Accra (2 teams), Ashanti (1), Brong Ahafo (1), Central (1) and Eastern (1). There will a ladies? curtain raiser to the grand final of the final day of competition

The teams from the Regions are expected to arrive in Accra on Tuesday December 10. The competition will push-off on Wednesday December 11 with the final match coming off on Saturday December 14 2002 at the National Hockey Pitch.
