Inkoom Terminates Contract With Dnipro

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has secured a free agent status after cancelling his contract with FC Dnipro.

The former Asante Kotoko player was handed all his documents on Thursday in a FIFA ruling over unpaid three months wage.

Dnipro were given the option to either pay the outstanding wages in order to keep the Ghana international or release him on a free in a player status hearing at FIFA.

The Ukrainian club who are facing serious financial challenges however decided to dispose of the player whom they rarely feature in games.

The development brings to an end to the woes of the 24-year-old who joined the Ukrainian club from FC Basel in 2011.

The right-back after enjoying a flying start at Dnipro was relegated to bench roles after falling out with manager Junde Ramos.

Inkoom has since been agitating for a move away from the Dnipropetrovsk-based club whose outrageous demands scared off suitors.

The Ghanaian can now make a free transfer move to a club of his choice in time before the European transfer window shuts in a few days time.

Clubs in England and France are already said to be interested talented defender who was part of the historic Ghana U20 team that won the World Cup in 2009.
