RTU finish frustrating season with 2 points

Real Tamale United went down into relegation from the Premier League by earning the lowest number of points ever in their Ghanaian top-flight.

Winless in 30 matches, RTU could only draw five times but finished bottom of the 16-team table with just 2 points.

RTU suffered a Disciplinary Committee decision that ducked them 3 points from the accumulated points after they fielded an unqualified player.

The Tamale side were able to find the back of the target 19 times but conceded 73 goals.
