Nyaho: I’m not ‘against’ Kwesi Appiah

Former Ghana FA Boss, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe says it’s the ‘cup of tea’ of the Ghana Football Association to keep Kwesi Appiah in charge of the Black Stars.

Nyaho insists he will no more comment on the issue of the national team coach because a lot has been said already on the subject matter so much further remarks may just rouse suspicion of a personal vendetta.

“I’ve said a lot already and I don’t want talk again on this subject,” Nyaho told 90 MINUTES.

The former FA capo continued: “I’ve been interviewed by Metro TV and I’m not in position to do anything again because I don’t want to create the perception that I’m trying to persecute Kwesi Appiah.

“I have no such intention, all I ever want is this country’s good in football and if the GFA thinks he is the man to do the job, then it’s their cup of tea.” He added on the impending World Cup qualifiers: “You are talking about the World Cup and for it to be possible, for me we have a lot to do.

“A lot, lot, lot of work to do.

“Definitely they have to look again at the selection because the sort of materials we have now are not good enough. We have to work on the players.”
