RTU denied rare win as Liberty pull a draw

Real Tamale United's hopes of registering a first win in the Glo Premier League was blown as a late Liberty Professionals equaliser denied them a rare victory.

Both side drew 1-1 on Saturday at the Baba Yara Stadium as second substitute Ernest Baffoe struck the equaliser which coast RTU what could have been their first claim for three points this season.

Sitting at the foot of the table, RTU, are still winless after 14 rounds of matches in the first round, having drawn five times and lost nine games.

After a goalless first half, Mohammed Aminu out RTU in front in the 76th minute but their lead could only last for six minutes.

Baffoe leveled up for Liberty in the 82nd minute as they claimed a share of the spoils.
