Hearts coach admits to mounting pressure to perform

The Head Coach of premier League side, Accra Hearts of Oak, Charles Akonnour has accepted that he is under pressure to perform after his team lost against WA All Stars yesterday in the ongoing Glo Premier League.

Hearts who have now lost two games in a row in the ongoing Glo Premier League face a stiff opposition on Sunday at the Golden City Park when they play guest to Berekum Chelsea.

Pressure has started mounting on head Coach C.K Akunnor after some irate fans at the Accra Sports wanted to find out what was really wrong with the technical team and the playing body.

“I know I’m under pressure to perform after we lost today (Wednesday). We played poorly and I know we have a lot to do. WA All Stars truly deserve the points and it my duty to change the team to a winsome one in the upcoming matches,” he said.

Wa All Stars secured a 2-1 victory over Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday.
