Winless ‘Fabu’ seeks 1st win at Baba Yara

Defending league champions Fabulous Asante Kotoko will be seeking to end their winless streak to the season as they welcome Berekum Arsenals to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this Sunday as the Glo Premiership enters week 5.

Matches between Kotoko and teams from the Brong and Ahafo region has proven to be a tough knot for the fabulous boys but Kotoko has no other option than to win to at least bring the smiles back on their vociferous fans.

At the Berekum Golden City Park, Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak will play as guest to Berekum Chelsea.

Chelsea is second on the log with 7 points whiles the phobians are ninth with 4 points. Chelsea looks the better side to carry the day as they still have most of their soldiers which represented them in the CAF Champions league except Emmanuel Clottey.
Hearts have not found their feet in the league and if Coach C.K Akunnor fails to do his homework before Sunday then the losing bus will surely stop at his door step.

Soccer miners Ashantigold fc will play as host to Alhaji Grunsah’s King Faisal at the Len Clay Stadium on Sunday. Ashantigold is fifth on the log with 6 points while Faisal is fourth with 7 points.

Matches between these two sides have always been difficult to predict regardless of the venue and Sunday’s encounter is not going to be different.

At the Tamale Sports Stadium, Real Tamale United (RTU) will welcome current league leaders Medeama SC who are yet to lose a match.

The homesters are thirteenth on the ladder with 3 points whiles Medeama sit at the summit with 10 points. RTU needs to do more in other to stop Medeama from picking a point from their own backyard.

The Scientific Soccer lads, Liberty Professionals will welcome Aduana Stars to the Alhaji Sly Tetteh Park in Dansoman.

Liberty is fifteenth on the table with 3 points whiles Aduana Stars are sixth with 6 points. The home side looks the better side to win the three points at stake but Aduana can pull a draw.

All Stars will engage Tema Youth at their favorite Wa Park. All Stars are seventh on the ladder with 5 points whiles Tema Youth is third with 7 points.

However, at the Tema community three park new entrant Amidaus Professionals will entertain visiting Kpando Hearts of Lions.
