Ali Baba set to explode

GHANA?s WBC flyweight contender, Alex Ali Baba, is set to explode at the Trade Fair Site this Saturday when he fights Nigeria?s Felix Friday in an international flyweight contest.
Over the past month, the Ghanaian who is a second contender to the WBC title has been busy in the gym preparing for this particular bout.
"Open Sesame," as he is affectionately called, is bent on giving local fans a special treat to make up for his over three years absence on the local scene. With his ambition to annex the world title still in focus, Ali Baba who commands ring craft and excellent boxing skills is expected to use his Nigerian opponent as a launching pad towards the realisation of that big dream.
The main bout of the six-bout action-packed show being staged by Arthur Don International Promotions features. "The Crusader" Charles Adamu in a thrilling international super middleweight contest against "His Excellency" Sammy King Hammer of Nigeria.
Adamu (5-0) who has his sights on the African middleweight crown has the strength, guts and skill to add Hammer to his list of victims and improve his record to brighten his chances of a title shot soon. The night?s bill ,dubbed the "Way of the Warrior", will definitely parade other warriors like Kpakpo "The Exciting" Allotey and Alfred Odai who clash in a "who is who? super featherweight fray. Already, Kpakpo, who was the toast of fans in the two earlier promotions by Arthur Don, has promised to live up to the occasion this time around by dismissing his opponent within the distance. Another wonderful performer on the local scene, Alfred Tetteh who hails from Bukom, has vowed to cut to size braggart Kofi Boateng in their flyweight bout. However, the Pride of Ashaiman, Boateng, is more than determined to teach Tetteh a boxing lesson he will live to remember.
A super lightweight clash involving Badu Akwetteh, aka Black Mosquito, and Roland Mills of Saga Club also promises a lot of fireworks, considering the exchanges between the two pugilists so far.
Mills has pledged to destroy the "mosquito" in order to rid boxing of malarial infections on Saturday.
On paper, both fighters are strong, possess tremendous skills and appear to be equally matched.
The bill is the fourth in the series of the Stardon Sports Series sponsored by NTHC and TV3.
The rates as usual are ?50,000 for ringside, ?30,000 for outer ringside and ?20,000 for the popular Stand.
