Ghana striker Jordan Ayew has revealed his admiration for Zlatan Ibrahimovic ahead of Marseille’s Ligue 1 clash against Paris Saint-Germain on October 7.
Marseille have been in blistering form this season where they have gone six matches without defeat.
While the meeting between the two giants is set to eclipse next weekend’s round of matches in the French Lique 1, the Black Stars striker is relishing the prospect of meeting his ‘idol’ Ibrahimovic.
“PSG are an impressive team. There’s no reason to deny that as it’s the simple truth,” Ayew told RMC .
“Ibrahimovic in particular will be a tough opponent. He’s my idol.
“We will see how it pans out in two weeks time. It will definitely not be an easy game, but anything can happen in football.”
Marseille will lock horns with Valenciennes this weekend ahead of the big game against the mega-spenders.
