Etoile Sahel confirm Uriah Asante signing

Tunisian giants Etoile du Sahel have announced the signing of talented midfielder Uriah Asante, MTNFootball can confirm.

The 19-year-old signed a three-year deal with the Sousse-based club on Friday for an undisclosed fee.

This was after his second-tier side Pure Joy FC had reached a deal with the North African side after protracted negotiations.

Sadly, Asante is ineligible to play in the Group stage of the CAF Champions League as Etoile have exhausted their available slots for player registration.

Asante had completed a two-year loan stint with Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak.

He was courted by several clubs including newly-installed Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko.
