I have five more years' left- Djangmah

Winner of this year’s Cowbell National Cycling Tour Henry Tetteh Djangmah says he has five more years in the sport before finally calling it quits.
The 30-year old, who has won the cycling competition twice in succession, believes five years from now, he may not be able to cope with the physical demands of the sport and thus plans to end his illustrious career then.
“I have five more years left and after that I would focus on training other young cyclists to continue. It’s been an amazing career for me and I know I would become a household name by the time I’m done,” Djangmah told Finder Sports.
Djangmah, who was missing at the podium in the early stages of this year’s competition, proved his prowess at the 9th stage of the competition in Koforidua where he assumed his supremacy till the end of the final stage at the Trade Fair Centre, La, Accra.
He took home a medal, cash prize of GH¢6,000, a giant trophy, brand new bicycle and products from Pens and Plastics Ghana Limited (PPGL) as well as souvenirs from Promasidor Ghana Limited.
The 13 days and 11 stages event started on May 15, 2012 in Accra and ended on May 27, 2012 in Accra.
In all, 72 cyclists from 12 cycling clubs competed in this year’s race but at the finishing point in Accra, only 57 of them were able to complete the race, with 15 of them abandoning it on the way.
The cyclists covered a total distance of 1313km in eight regions of the country in a total time of 29hrs 44mins 36secs with an average speed of 39.1km/hr.
