Preview: Kotoko eager to stay unbeaten

Two sides are still unbeaten in the Glo Premier League but the crucial midweek fixtures could bring their records tumbling.

Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs face tough games away and at home on match-day-9 after either side claimed impressive results over the weekend.

Leaders, Kotoko make the trip to Bekwai where they would be the guest of New Edubiase at the Gyemfis Park in a match live on Metro TV at 3:00pm.

Edubiase's impressive start to the season has died down but they could lift their game against the Porcupine Warriors who are one-point ahead of the second-placed side on the log.

The unbeaten run of Dwarfs would be tested at the Robert Mensah Stadium against champions, Berekum Chelsea.

Hans Van der Plyum's side are on a four-game winning spree and would be seeking to add Dwarfs to their list of victims.

Hearts of Oak, in third position and a point off the summit, have the opportunity to build on their good form as they chase the top spot when they welcome Aduana Stars to the Accra Sports Stadium.

Wa All Stars will attempt to rediscover their form after a home defeat when they travel to the Sekondi Stadium to meet Wassaman.

Medeama will be aiming to maintain their form which secured them a win over the weekend when they visit the Golden City Park to meet Berekum Arsenals.

Following their loss last Sunday, Heart of Lions will pick up the pieces in their game against Tema Youth at the Kpando Park.

Bottom side Bechem United, take on an inconsistent AshantiGold side, reeling from a 4-0 thrashing over the weekend. Both sides meet at the Bechem Park.

On Thursday, the last game of the match-day-9 fixture will be played at the Accra Sports Stadium where Mighty Jets Liberty Professionals.
