Dream Team V drew in Ghana

Nigeria’s under 23 football team, the Dream team V on Tuesday drew 1-1 against Ghanaian domestic side, Inter Allies FC.

The game which was part of the team’s preparations for this month’s CAF’s Olympic qualifying tournament was decided in the city of Tema.

Plaitan Otubanjo opened the scoring for the Dream Team V while Guy Ancent drew the Ghanaians level in the 5th minute of added time.

Coach of the Nigeria side, Austin Eguavoen was left fuming at full time following the failure of his side to hold on to their lead.

“I am disappointed in the result. And my disappointment is in the team’s inability to hold on to their lead. “Playing three games in the space of five days is not enough for us to give away our lead. All the same, the boys have done well,” Eguavoen told SuperSport.com.

The Dream Team V will return back to Nigeria on Wednesday.
