The 1st Ever Mountain Cycling Tour In Ghana

The first ever mountain cycling tour will be hosted by Amedzofe in the Ho municipality on the 11/October/2011. The tour is expected to bring together over 400 cyclists across the country with some top Politicians and Personalities also in attendance to tour sections of Akwapim to Togo ranges. The tour is organized by Abraerica Hospitality and Tour in partnership with the Volta Regional Cycling Association to mark the Amu (Rice) festival of the people of Ava

.time. The Ho municipality has a lot of tourist attraction centres and the tour will make a stop at some of the centers. Speaking with the event organizers, Sammy Akabgor express his profound gratitude to have been associated with the first ever mountain cycling tour in Ghana and urge everyone to participate and see the topography of Amedzofe coupled with its natural beauty of Mountains, Valleys, waterfalls and cool climate which made the place a unique tourist destination for both foreigners and indigenous Tourist over the years. The General Secretary of the Volta Regional Cycling Association Amen Ametor urged participants to come in their numbers as the tour will help them help them exercise the body and keep them fit at all times. He also spoke about the safety measures that the cyclist must protect themselves against injures and advice them to come with their helmets as the area is a mountainous one. The tour will cover 30 kilometers and all cyclists are to come with their bicycle for the memorable event.
