Frimpong Accepts England Under 21 Call Up

Footyghana.com has just learnt that Arsenal midfield sensation Emmanuel Frimpong is poised to accept an invitation from the English FA to play for England’s Under 21 team for forthcoming games against Israel and Azerbaijan, casting a bit of doubt over future ambitions to play for the Black Stars in the future.
According to our sources, Frimpong, who received a very late call up for Ghana’s abortive match against Nigeria, was expecting a call up for Ghana’s games against Swaziland and Brazil and is said to be unhappy with what he believes is the lack of action by the Ghana Football Association to act to get him for the Black Stars.
Frimpong, who has made no secret of his desire to play for Ghana, has revealed to our sources that there has been virtually no communication from the GFA regarding his future as an international for Ghana.
Frimpong started his first senior game for Arsenal over the weekend against Liverpool in the English Premier Leagueand was sent off in the second half.
