Key Stars Out Of Korea Game

Michael Essien and Kevin Prince Boateng have been left out of Ghana squad for Tuesday's friendly against South Korea.

Captain John Mensah as well as first choice striker Prince Tagoe were also excluded from the squad for the trip to Seoul.

Also unavailable for the test game in the Asian country is Andre Ayew, injured Samuel Inkoom and goalkeeper Sammy Adjei.

After a long season in Europe, coach Goran Stevanovic has decided to give the seven players some time to recover from their punishing campaigns in Europe.

It is unclear however why goalkeeper Sammy Adjei was excluded from the team.

The Black Stars travelled to Korea with 17 players which will give the Serbian manager some time to observe players who have not played in the first team.

The Black Stars sealed a 3-1 win at the Seoul World Cup stadium, the last time both sides met, back in 2006 in another friendly.
