"Congo game is most important" - Stevanovic

Accra, March 14, GNA - Goran Stevanovic, Black Stars trainer rates high the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo on March 27 than the friendly with England two days later. The March 29 meeting between the Black Stars and their colonial masters at the New Wembley has gained public interest than the continental qualifier, but coach Stevanovic has refused to subscribe to that allusion.

"The most important game for now is the Congo game. It is not the England one as everybody is saying. To think a friendly game is important than a competitive one is not good for us," the Serb told to their ambitions of qualifying for the continental showpiece event. "We are taking the game seriously. I have been trying to get a video of the Sudan-Congo game to study ahead of the match. Our focus is Congo. We need to win there"

The Serb who feels Ghanaian said that he is plotting for the maximum points against the Red Devils at their backyard. "I trust in my players and I am sure that we have the team that can get victory against Congo."

Congo are one point adrift the Stars, who share top spot with Sudan. Swaziland, the other team in Group I are pointless at the bottom after losses to Ghana and Congo.
