Ashgold beat Aduana Stars at Obuasi

Obuasi, Nov.28, GNA - Ashantigold beat defending league champions Dormaa Aduana Stars by a lone goal in the 13th week Glo Premier Match at the Len Clay Stadium, Obuasi.

Both sides played uncompromising game throughout the period as the ball moved from one end to the other.

Ashgold, however, utilised their clearest chance that came their way in the 29th minutes when a cross from Alhaji Sannie saw Yakubu Mohammed short past goalkeeper Steven Adams for the only goal of the game.

The second half witnessed the same pattern of play with Ashgold seeking to increase the tally, whilst Aduana fought for the equalizer which never came even with eight minutes of added time by referee Thomas Nunoo.

Second assistance referee, Beatrice Todd received first aid for about five minutes when she was hit by the ball in play and fell on the pitch in the 52nd minutes.
