Baffoe slams GFA president ambitions

Former Ghanaian international Tony Baffoe has moved quickly to distance himself from reports that he intends running for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association.

The ex-defender told KickOffGhana.com he has not thought for a minute about standing against 'a very successful president' in Kwesi Nyantekyie and insists it is the last priorities.

"I work with FIFA, I work with CAF and I am going to be doing TV work. In addition to I am working on the player's union which is close to my heart. How could I be so stupid to think of standing against such a successful administration? I am not interested and I don't know where this is coming from."

Baffoe worked with the present GFA administration as International Relations Officer at the 2006 World Cup but since concentrated his efforts at working on various committees at CAF and FIFA.
