Netball Association to organize workshops in 10 regions

Accra, April 28, GNA - The Netball Association of Ghana (NAG) in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) will organize workshops in all the ten regions as part of efforts towards developing the sport.

The workshops which will have Sports teachers and Netball coaches from Basic and Senior High Schools, Teacher Training Colleges and personnel from the National Sports Council as participants has been scheduled to begin from April to June.

Rev. Emmanuel Nikoi, Chairman of the NAG in a release copied to the of Netball Associations.

He said that workshop for the Ashanti Region has been fixed for Monday, April 28 to Friday, May 2 while Volta Region will have its turn from May 5 to 9.

Rev. Nikoi said the Northern Region will host its workshop from May 12 to 16 with those of Upper East and Upper West Region coming off from May 19 to 23 and May 26 to 30 respectively.

The NAG Chairman added that Eastern Region will take its turn from June 2 to 6, Western Region from June 9 to 13 and Brong Ahafo Region from June 16 to 20.

He added that his outfit is yet to seal a date on that of the Greater Accra Region.
