Vipers spank Sharks in a friendly match

Cape Coast, Sept 28, GNA - Cape Coast Venomous Vipers continued their winning spree when they spanked Elmina Coconut Grove Sharks 4-0 in a friendly soccer match played at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium at Cape Coast.

Vipers recently beat their local rivals, Ebusua Dwarfs on two occasions and disposed of Abura Dunkwa Metro Stars 2-1. The victors showed their determination to carry the game when they took absolute control of the game from the onset by banging in two goals before the end of the first half.

On resumption of the second half, Sharks made frantic efforts to find the equalizer but their attempts proved fruitless as their hope of drawing level were shattered when Vipers playmaker, Aminu Abukari scored two more goals to give his side a major boost in their match-winning spree. 28 Sept. 06
