Pimpong last-minute goal give Copenhagen title

COPENHAGEN, April 6 - FC Copenhagen retained their Royal League title on Thursday by beating Norwegian side Lillestrom 1-0 in the final thanks to a late goal by Razak Pimpong.

In rainy conditions, the Ghanaian substitute became the match hero when he scored just before the end of regular time.

He was sent off just moments after when he picked up his second yellow card of the match for excessive celebrations.

Last year the Danish capital team won the first edition of the all-Scandinavian tournament after beating IFK Gothenburg 12-11 in a marathon penalty shootout
