TOR wins Fun Games

Tema, Dec. 10, GNA - Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) beat Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) by nine points to three to win the annual Fun Games of the oil companies at Tema on Sunday. TOR defeated BOST 360 by 234 in the Playing Cards, drew 1-1 in the Soccer event, won the Draught competition 2-1 but lost the Tug-Of-War 2-1 to their opponenets.

Mr Charles Duodu, Human Resource Manager of TOR said the event was aimed at strengthening the already existing cordial relationship between the two oil marketing companies. He called on the staff of the two companies to take active interest in sports so as to remain healthy at all times. Meanwhile the annual Asantehene Open Golf Championship scheduled for the Kumasi Royal Golf Course on Sunday, December 16, has been postponed.

Mr K.O.Agyemang, Captain of the Kumasi Royal Golf Club who announced this in Accra on Monday said a new date will be announced later for the event.
