Sammy Adjei gets Ghana recall for Saudi friendly

Goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has been recalled into the Black Stars for Ghana's friendly against Saudi Arabia in the United Arab Emirates this month.

Ghana plays Saudi Arabia in an international friendly on November 17 in Dubai.

The Hearts of Oak shot-stopper makes the 19-man squad announced on Wednesday by stand-in coach Kwesi Appiah. And Adjei's invitation is the first time in 34 months since he resigned from the senior side after the 2008 African Nations Cup.

Kwesi Appiah has also recalled Quincy Owusu-Abeyie since he last featured for the Black Stars at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

There is also a place for Harrison Afful while Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey gets another call up.
