Ghana football will witness one of its dramatic moments when the owner of Bolga All Stars and a member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana FA Abdulai Alhassan laisses his boots for the clash with Accra Hearts of Oak on Wednesday at the Tamale Utrecht Park.

The two sides will be meeting for the first time in the Ghana Premier League and the former player of Nania FC who hanged his boots a few years ago have revealed he will be starring in the game.

Abu, as he is affectionately referred, played for former Ghana Premier League campaigners St. Mirren before moving to Dutch side FC Utrecht.

The 30-year old who is also the Northern Regional Football Association Chairman and the youngest member of the GFA’s Executive Committee believes his participation will motivate Bolga All Stars to beat Hearts.

“I am still young to be able to play football. I hanged my boots because of some reasons and to start this academy (Tamale Utrecht).

“But I am fit to play and I will play for the side against Hearts today to ensure we beat them and move up the table,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

He however did not disclose whether he will be playing other matches in addition to today’s game.

The self-motivated young man is believed to have completed his registration with the Ghana FA as a player following the opening of the second transfer window.
