Kufuor Calls Emergency Cabinet Meeting

President John Kufuor has called an emergency cabinet meeting to discuss the tragedy that killed more than 120 football fans at a match in the capital, Accra.
The tragedy is being seen as the worst in African sporting history.
The match between Ghana's top two clubs, Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko, had just about five minutes left to play when violence broke out.
Hearts were leading 2-1 at the time and reports suggest that angry and disappointed Kotoko fans started ripping off chairs from one stand and hurling them onto the pitch.
Police fired teargas in an effort to control the crowd but this appeared to have created more panic and led to a stampede.
Ghana's deputy sports minister Joe Aggrey told the BBC that up to 124 football fans were killed in the stampede.
