Kotoko in danger of losing Albert Bruce for free

Midfielder Albert Bruce could leave Asante Kotoko on a free transfer if the club fails to sell the former Berekum Arsenals youngster as he runs in to the last six months of his three-year contract with the porcupine warriors.

Bruce, now 19, joined Asante Kotoko in July 2010 but was loaned out to Polish club Legia Warsaw in a one year deal. He was unable to command a starting place in the team which resulted in his release when his loan deal ended in December last year.

The holding midfielder has since been left to look for opportunities elsewhere and is yet to revert to training with his right owners Asante Kotoko.

Footy-Ghana sources reveal Bruce is not willing to return to local football and is doing everything possible to secure a deal in Europe. Report says his agents, ‘World In Motion’ are in advance talks with clubs in Norway for a possible deal.

The 2013 Norwegian League’s transfer window which was opened on January 1 will close on the last day of March.

Albert Bruce’s contract with Asante Kotoko runs out in August.
