Jones Hints At Resigning

BLACK STARS BOSS, Cecil Jones Attuaquayefio, says he has not had the best of support from the Ghanaian FA and is expected to resign on Monday.

After achieving his first ever-positive result with the Black Stars against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a goalless draw on Sunday, Attuaquayefio ended his three-match losing streak with Ghana. Amazingly he is now considering resigning as coach of the Black Stars.

Jones stated that his request for video tapes of the Super Eagles before the match was not responded to by Ghana's Football Association and he believed that if he had had the tapes and the necessary support required from the FA at all levels then things would have been better for the Black Stars.

Sources close to the coach claimed before Sunday's World Cup qualifier that Jones was going to resign immediately after the game if the Black Stars had beaten Nigeria.

It is now expected that Cecil Jones Attuaquayefio will tender his resignation by letter on Monday
