Hearts board member Frank Nelson insists Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi is the right man for the hugely demanding job.

The 46-year-old has hit the ground running since assuming his new role in the capital.

He supervised the sides first pre-season 2-0 friendly win over lower Bright Academy last week amid growing disquiet over lack of activity in the transfer market.

Hearts are yet to sign any big name player ahead of the start of the new season as doubts surrounding their new trainer grows.

But board member Frank Nelson is urging calm and insists hes the right man for the job.

We believe in Kenichi and we think he can do the job. Thats the reason why we hired him.

If we didnt believe in him, we would not have gone for him. He needs a bit of time to adjust and so supporters should rest easy.

He has the quality and the drive to lead this team to success. There is no need to panic.

Hearts are desperate to win the Ghana Premier League title which has remained elusive since 2008.
