Ghana striker Jordan Ayew scored a fabulous finish for Aston Villa in their defeat against Bournemouth in England while Majeed Waris scored his 11th goal of the season in France.

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan returned from injury to score in the Chinese Super League.

There were also goals for Mahatma Otoo, Dennis Appiah, Reagy Ofosu, Charles Sapong, Kevin Luckassen, Moses Odjer, Albert Adomah and Caleb Ekuban.

BELGIUM

Ghana midfielder Bennard Kumordzi came off the bench to play the last 6 minutes of normal time for KRC Genk in their 4-0 hammering of KV Oostende.

Mahatma Otoo scored the only goal of the game for Sogndal IF as they pipped Haugesund 1-0. Ghanaian Gilbert Koomson also played the entire match for Sogndal. Kwame Karikari was introduced in the second-half by Haugesund.

Ernest Asante assisted both goals for Stabaek in their 2-1 win over Vålerenga. Kamal Issah also played the entire match for Stabaek but Shadrach Eghan warmed the bench for Stabaek.

Mohammed Abu and Bismark Adjei-Boateng played for Stromsgodset in their 2-0 loss at Tromso.

Edwin Gyasi came off the Aalesund bench to play in their 1-0 loss against Rosenborg BK.

TURKEY

Defender John Boye was in fine shape for Sivasspor in their 1-0 crucial away win over Gaziantepspor on Friday.

Samuel Inkoom anchored the lateral defence for Antalyaspor in their 0-0 draw at Kayserispor.

Giresunspor posted a 1-0 win over Adana Demirspor. Defender Joseph Attamah played the entire game but Ibrahim Moro was unused by Demirspor.

SCOTLAND

BK Hacken slipped to a 2-1 home loss against Norrkoping. Ghanaian duo Mohammed Abubakari and Nasiru Mohammed both played the full 90 minutes for Hacken but defender Baba Mensah warmed their bench.

Defender Joseph Aidoo warmed the bench for Hammarby in their 5-1 win over Helsingborg IF.

Gefle IF succumbed to a 2-1 home loss against Djurgarden. Kwame Bonsu was unused by Gefle.
