Ghana’s ‘Pele’ Elizabeth Addo extends Kvarnsvedens IK contract

Good news Kvarnsvedens IK fans! Bad news, defenders of the Damallsvenskan League! Elizabeth Addo, all-round attacking terror, has committed her future to Kvarnsvedens IK by signing a new two-year contract extension Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.

However, the 23-year-old Black Queens Playmaker who has enjoyed some superb form this season is delighted to have signed a new deal that will keep her tied to the Borlänge base club until 2018.

“I am very happy to sign a new contract with Kvarnsvedens IK. Since I came here in August I have always felt good and the club has been very supportive to me. Addo told Sportsworldghana.com.

She Adde: The president has been very nice to me as well as the manager who has helped me improve a lot, the fans have been fantastic and I have a great understanding with my teammates. I always try to give pleasure to the supporters with my style of play and it is nice to know they appreciate what i do.

Since arriving from Ferencvárosi TC in August this year, Addo have made 9 appearances for Kvarnsvedens IK and scored 5 goals with 2 assists.

Still only 23, her best years are surely yet to come.
