Ex-Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac heads to Algeria for Foxes duty

Ex-Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac is expected to arrive in Algiers today to begin his duties as the coach of the Foxes.

The Serbian tactician was confirmed as the substantive coach of the team last month.

The former Black Stars gaffer replaced interim manager Nabil Neghiz who held the job after Christian Gourcuff stepped down from his position as manager.

The 62-year-old is expected to lead the Algerians in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

He led Ghana to a second place finish in the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola after a narrow 1-0 defeat to Egypt.

Rajevac has had unsuccessful tenure with Saudi side Al Ahli as well as the Qatari national team.

The tactician has his work cut out for him after the Foxes were drawn against Zambia, Cameroon and Nigeria in the race for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
