ECOWAS Games: Nigeria dominate 200m men

Nigeria emerged superior in the 200m men’s event at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Games, winning both gold and silver.

Tamunotoye Briggs won the race at 21.44secs. whilst compatriot Jonathan Nmaju won silver at 21.55secs.

Local favourite Emmanuel Dasor of Ghana managed a bronze with a time of 21.73secs. whilst colleague David Amoo-Mends finished a distance fourth at 21.73secs.**
