ECOWAS Games: Finals of Traditional Wrestling on Friday

The individual prowess of the finals of the Traditional Wrestling event will see Ki Alex of Burkina Faso battle it out against Dieng Sidy of Senegal in the 60kg division as they search for gold at the on-going ECOWAS Games, which is scheduled for Friday, June 22 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ali Kepassimzouwe of Togo will whack it out for the bronze against his counterpart Hassan Zakari of Niger.
In the 65kg division of the game, Habibou Idi of Niger clashes it out with N’diaye Papa Diabel of Senegal for the gold while Ninorie Chinonso of Nigeria comes against Moumouni Abdoulaye of Benin for the bronze.
Diuof Ibra of Senegal will face Iselekuman Digna of Nigeria for gold in the 70kg division whilst Solamou Roland of Burkina Faso come against Aboubacar Abdoulaye of Niger for the third position.
The 75kg division of the game is a straight fight between Diouane Omar of Senegal and Zon Drissa of Burkina Faso for the finals, whilst Kaiyazinao of Togo will contend Kouadio Brou of Cote d’Ivoire.
Laouali Abdou of Niger will battle it out with M’baye M’bar of Senegal for the finals in the 80kg division whilst Zerbo Eloi of Burkina Faso will wrestle Baba Muhammed of Nigeria for the 3rd position.
According to the organizers, the finals of the country’s slots will see Niger come against Burkina Faso for the gold while Senegal wrestle against Benin for the third place.**
