Black Stars skipper, Asamoah Gyan, has said the Chinese league is more competitive than the UAE in terms of the supporting fans.

According to him, the Chinese Super League is more competitive as compared to the European leagues.

“The Chinese league spectators at the stadium sometimes about 80,000 and the rests.” That is what I didn’t see in the United Arab Emirates league even though I had a lot of fans there and they come in their numbers, but the Chinese league is massive,” Gyan said.

Gyan helped his team Shanghai SIPG to place second after joining them midway and scored a couple of goals in the super league.

Gyan joined Al-Ain of the UAE on loan and becomes the league’s top-goalscorer, scoring twenty-four times in twenty-seven matches. For his three year stay in Al-Ain, Gyan proved to be a goal scoring machine.
