Black Stars coach Avram Grant has invited WA All Stars striker Emmanuel Ocran for the final 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Rwanda on Saturday.

Ocran now joins his team’s goalkeeper Richard Ofori, Ashgold’s defender Kadri Mohammed and Kotoko’s Fatau Mohammed.

The number of locally-based players keeps on increasing as coach Grant is unsure about the availability of some of his officially invited players.

Ocran is in the squad as striker Jordan Ayew is reported to be in France to seal a deal with an unnamed club, sources have hinted.

Thirteen players reported to training on Tuesday with the rest expected in today to make the full squad.

Meanwhile, captain Asamoah Gyan is currently in London trying to negotiate a deal with an unnamed club after talks with Reading broke down while winger Christian Atsu is still in England to finalise his loan switch to Newcastle United from Chelsea.
