Asamoah’s injury a big blow – Gyamfi

Deputy Public Relations Officer of Aduana Stars, Collins Gyamfi has described Nathaniel Asamoah’s injury as a blow to the team.

Striker Nathaniel Asamoah picked up a knock in Aduana’s last game against Liberty Professionals that saw him limp off the pitch. Although Aduana went ahead to win the game one-nil, the team is concerned about the fitness of the striker.

“Nathaniel’s injury is a big blow to us as a team. He is helpful on and off the pitch, which is the reason his injury has hit us this big. We are just hoping he will return in the next few days and be fit for our game against Hasaacas,” Mr Gyamfi told Class Sports.

Nathaniel moved to Aduana Stars in the second half of the season but has not been in great form. “He has not had the best of periods yet, but whoever knows Nathaniel Asamoah will know it’s only a matter of time before he gets into his elements and starts banging in the goals,” Mr Gyamfi added.

Aduana Stars are third on the GPL table after 21 games with 34.
