Armed Forces Sports Festival on September 22

Accra, Sept. 15, gna- This year's Ghana Armed Forced Sports Festival comes off at the El-Wak Stadium from Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26, a statement from its Public Relations Directorate said today.

The statement said the competing teams have been drawn from the Ghana Army, the Navy and the Air Force to fight for honours in Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Handball, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis and Tug of War.

The event, to be under the patronage of the Minister of Defence, Dr Kwame Addo-Kufuor, will be officially opened at 1300 hours that Friday.
