Aggrey Memorial Are Handball champions

Cape Coast, Nov. 10, GNA - Aggrey Memorial Zion Secondary School beat Adisadel College 5-2 to become the Zone One Handball champions in the Central Region Inter Schools and Colleges Handball competition held at the University of Cape Coast Sports grounds on Wednesday. Aggrey Secondary School also whacked Mfantsiman Secondary School 6-1 in the Girls Division.

Aggrey Secondary also whipped Ghana National College 30-0 in the Basketball in the Boys Division and added Christ the King Academy with a massive 27-3 win in the Girls Division.

Bernard Macauley and Ms Theophila Coffie who displayed outstanding performance at the Games were adjudged the best players in the Boys and Girls divisions.

In the Hockey tournament, Ghana National College beat Aggrey Secondary 2-1 on penalties while Aburaman Secondary Technical gained a narrow 1-0 win over Saltpond Mfantsiman Secondary school in the Girls Division.
