The Chief Executive Officer of Afro Arab Group of Companies, Alhaji Abdul Salamu Amadou has honoured his promise to gallant Asante Kotoko players for beating Hearts of Oak by a lone goal in the Super Clash on Monday.

Alhaji Abdul Salamu had promised the entire Kotoko team of a handsome reward for a win over their sworn rivals.

The noble CEO swiftly honoured his promise by dashing an undisclosed amount in US Dollars to the team for their gallant win over the Phobians moments after the game at the team’s hotel.

Asante Kotoko stole the three maximum points from their archrivals after former goalie Soulama Abdoulaye gifted the Porcupine Warriors with the only goal of the game.

The Burkinabe goalie failed to control a back pass given from center-back Richard Akrofi when Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed followed with a ferocious chase.

The gift from Alhaji Abdul Salam is one of many the Kotoko players have received as they were promised by many staunch followers of the club including the Life Patron Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The win over Hearts means Kotoko have beaten Hearts sixteen times at the Accra Sports Stadium.
