The clash between Ghanaian players Adam Kwarasey and Harrison Afful set for December 6 is like a UEFA Champions League final. At least for the Americans who enjoy their Major League Soccer.

The Major League Soccer is down to its last game which will see Eastern Conference champions Columbus Crew SC host Western Conference champion Portland Timbers at the MAPFRE Stadium.

Ghana international and Portland Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey defeated FC Dallas in the Western Conference Championship to set up the finale against Black Stars defender Harrison Afful’s Columbus Crew SC who beat New York Red Bulls in the Eastern Conference Championship.

Tickets for the MLS Cup sold in minutes when put on sales as fans were on point to grab a spot for the tie at the MAPFRE Stadium.

Additional seats were added to the normal 19,968 capacity of the MAPFRE stadium but allotted slots for Portland Timbers fans sold out after just four minutes of going on sale.

Columbus Crew SC announced tickets for the MLS Cup 2015 on Sunday were sold out. Columbus Crew President of Business Operations Andy Loughnane in a statement said:

“While there is a small chance that additional seats could be released for purchase as a result of MLS holds being returned, we are sold out of all known available seats.”

Harrison Afful’s Columbus Crew SC will be making their second ever appearance in the MLS Cup as this is the first for Adam Kwarasey’s Portland Timbers.
