Adu Kofi denies being managed by same agency that handles Avram Grant

Ghana midfielder Enoch Adu Kofi has denied claims in the media that he is one of the clients of the same agency that manages Black Stars Coach Avram Grant.

Reports say Adu Kofi and the Israeli trainer are both being managed by the same Dubai-based sports agency, Future Gen Sports and Luxury, leading to reports that the former Club Brugge player has a 99% chance of featuring at his first AFCON tournament in Equatorial Guinea.

"It is not true. I am not being managed by any agency in Dubai," Adu Kofi told Accra-based radio station Happy 98.9FM.

After enjoying enough playing time in the just ended season, making 15 appearances for Malmo FF and featured in 10 Uefa Champions League games for the Swedish champions, Adu Kofi says he will not be surprised to receive a call-up from Avram Grant.

“I won’t be surprised if I am called up. As a player, I know I have been playing week in and week out,” the former Norsjaelland player added.
