On Saturday October 10, all roads will lead to the El-Wak Sports Stadium as Keep Fit Clubs in Ghana converge for the 2015 edition of the Happy Fm Keep Fit Festival.

With over 100 participating Keep Fit Clubs, this annual event has over the years grown to become one of the largest gatherings of keep fit clubs in Ghana.

The program has come to be known as one of the best platform for the clubs, sports enthusiasts, celebrities and other stakeholders, to engage in friendly competition as they network and practice healthy living.

In a statement, Naomi Nelson, the Head of Corporate Communications for Global Media Alliance, the mother company for Happy FM revealed, ‘’Each time we hold this event in the past, we have had over 6000 sports enthusiasts representing keep fit clubs from all corners of the country. This year’s event promises to be even more exciting as we will be introducing several new twists and activities to the day’s program line up.”

The curtain raiser for this year’s keep fit festival will be a football match between Happy FM All-stars made up of celebrities like Okyeame Kwame, Gasmilla, Keche, Kwaw Kese, Rashid Metal, Screw Face, Asa Khalifa, and the Ghana Immigration Ladies.

Other activities lined up include football, athletics, lime and spoon, bend ball, sack race and tug-of-war as well as free eye check-up for patrons.

In its usual fashion, Happy 98.9FM has also been hosting some of the keep fit clubs live on air over the last couple of weeks.

The clubs are given the opportunity to share their memories and preparations and also engage their fans on air.

The general public is encouraged to tune in to 98.9 Happy Fm in Accra or check out www.happyfmghana.com for more information.
