The problem in Ghana is that, the police themselves are the prosecutors but in America, lawyers are prosecutors and if this happened in the USA,the state prosecutor(NOT POLICE)with the help of the city mayor would conduct their own private autopsy and bring justice to the family. This is similar to Friddie Gray's case, he died after the police arrest and now all the six police officers are facing murder charges. How can a police-involved death be investigated by the same police force? What do we expect the result to be?

Any why do you and how can you say "... the police must also look at the issues critically, if it’s beyond them, they should appeal to the higher authorities to deal with the matter"? Should this matter be beyond the Ghana Police? It shouldn't be beyond the Police; if it is beyond the police, then the Police is making a complete and absolute mockery of one of their ultimate functions in the country, that is, the restoration of law and order. Some people (and most of the time highly educated people) just open up their mouth without consulting their brains and spit garbage. "...if it’s beyond them..." such a statement an insult to your profession and your highly developed, if any intellect.
