AUTHOR: YAW-----When one hears the likes of Anyidoho,Kofi Adams,Asiedu Nkatiah,Ofosu Kwakye, Twum Boafo, Solomon Nkansah, Bokor and the rest of these NDC small minds saying Nana Addo or for that matter NPP has no message, you wonder whether they understand or know what they're talking about or like Dr.Bawumia rightly pointed out, they don't read. How many of NPP'S policies and plans have they tried to steal only to fumble and made mess with due to their lack of knowhow. Why does this Anyidoho keep embarrassing himself with baseless utterances? Politics is a dirty game they say but for anybody to state that Nana Akufo Addo Danquah or NPP has no message is laughable and stupidity to the highest degree.

Say this to the marines, of the so called 35 how many have been prosecuted and jailed for wrong doing? Such people like you are the problem of this nation. All these numbers you've mentioned where are they? Who has been convicted in John Bombo Mahama 's government? Are you sick, are you getting crazy? I tell you after 2017 most ndc members will go mad. Just keep your fingers crossed for the real accountability after 2016, no stone will be left unturned. The next government is expected by all Ghanaians to jail all ndc fools whose business was to go into government to steal from the state. That day , you people will weep while Ghana rejoice, the people of Ghana will show you the exit thru' the main gate come this Nov.the wind of change is too huge for the ndc to stand. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time. Ghanaians are discerning and they hate you thieves. NDC is one party which has done great disservice to this nation and it is about time they all get jailed with hard labour in our cocoa farms, for them to know you sweat before you earn. NDC hate Ghana and 4 more years will send Ghana to her grave, the people in that party are just criminals and wicked with no exception, they are Damn animals.

I love it when the government, who is responsible for ECG, pretends to be on the same side as the citizenry by pointing a wagging finger at ECG and telling them their rates are too high.
There are issues with ECG and a good manager would take responsibility and not throw them under the bus.
The problem with some prepaid meters is that they go back retroactively at the new rate tier to reduce the balance of the account. For example, as a resident, once you hit 300 units for a month, the new rate jumps from 67Gp to 87Gp. The problem is that the meter takes out the money from your balance as though the first 300 units should have been charged at 87Gp.
On post paid, the number of days on a bill are not consistent. In February and April, ECG staff didn't come around to read the meter and gave a very, very low reading on my bill...about 2 days. (They made it up.) For March and May, they read the meter which means the usage for those months will be around 58 days ! So, if you look just at your bill without any analysis, the numbers look even scarier.

Our budget is supported by some donor nations and you are here talking about Ecowas Custom Union. Blacks get no sense of putting solid structures to support themselves unless the "the pink skin man" comes along.

Mr. President, you are not only lying, you are deceiving us. Why should you continue to treat Ghanaians as though, we are morons and that, we will take anything you shove down our throats. You knew from day one, the increase in tariffs you and the Ndc planned to heap on us. At least, the TUC put up a low level resistance, complaining about the hit, the increase would have on their take home pay. You danced around the problem and like what has marked your administration, things fell in place to your advantage. You cannot run away from this one. Because, it is simply unbearable. It cannot be sustained.

The overbilling needs to stop. The rate increase needs to be rescinded. The ECG needs to put more effort into collecting fees owed instead penalizing those who pay their bills. The amounts owed to the ECG that have gone uncollected for years are astronomical, and the ECG is to blame for that by its failure to go after these unpaid bills. A stronger collection effort is needed, not a rate increase. Even I a rate increase is warranted, that increase should be reasonable.
