As for the football everybody knows how to play. What people don't know how to is if you were to move them from one environment to another. Adaptation

  There are many Ghanaians who have a fantasy. That fantasy is that a collection of local guys will just magically band together and be able to shine on the international stage. The reality is that there are many talented Ghanaians who still need some experience abroad to really challenge themselves and develop the confidence that they need. This is a painful fact for many Ghanaians.

  This Konadu guy is very stupid, what you as a coach? If the players are not mentally tough then you are not mentally tough as a coach, you are not even qualify to be an assisting coach of the Black Star.

  Since when did he get to know that local players are mentally not tough and how do they acquire the toughness? Is it not the responsibility of a coach to psyche up his players mentally? He doesn't even know his responsibilities and so he is always losing and always talking nonsense. The man was given the job only because of his closeness to Nyantekyi but he is a big waste on the country's resources.

  This is the point. The local league has talented players who are very basic in their mentality. They need to learn to have that extra mental gear. I think every player needs to watch the Ghana v. Algeria game at AFCON 2015 and see the mental push of Asamoah Gyan when he scored that winning goal. That is what we need to see from our local players.
