Cynthia, this lazy Foreign Minister and her COCAINDC Government would do NOTHING to help our brothers and sisters who are facing such unbecoming situation in South Africa.

They may only wait for the Dead Toll to rise so that they negotiate for compensation for the bereaved Families- who would be lucky enough to identify their loved ones- let alone the MONEY that may be paid to the COCAINDC GOVERNMENT.

Please remember the situation that happened in Gambia, which was similar to this very unfortunate one.

The NPP under Nana Akufo Addo as the Foreign Minister, negotiated with the Gambian Government for Compensation for the bereaved families.

That MONEY was NOT paid until the COCAINDC got into POWER in 2009. The Gambian Government paid well over $500,000 to the COCAINDC to be distributed to the bereaved families.

Unfortunately, the COCAINDC used the entire MONIES for themselves and reported to Parliament that the MONIES were used for buying RED CARPET, WHISKIES, etc.

Only few months ago, this same question resurfaced again in Parliament about the money. This lazy Hannah Tetteh answered that the Funds were still in the CONTINGENCY FUNDS.

But when they were checked, THERE WAS NOTHING THERE.

A GOVERNMENT THAT STEALS FROM THE DEAD PEOPLE MUST NEVER BE ALLOWED TO STAY TO ENJOY IMMUNITY.

From a political strategy standpoint I think the NDC is superia. In recent weeks I have heard their strategic underpinning in Ashanti, Central and now Eastern regions, which tels any independent observer that even though at the national front the narrative may not be gong thier way, they are working very hard at the regional and local levels and ont be surprised if they win again!

Since most of you people on this thread are commenting on things you know nothing about, Egbert Faibille is right in asking for the government to summon the South African High Commissioner to Ghana to explain the senseless murder of those Ghanaians. It is the duty and responsibility of the minister of foreign affairs and not the president who has to call in the high commissioner. It remains to be seen if the foreign affairs minister will actually perform her job. This is what happens in diplomacy as stated in the Geneva Convention.
