Our beach land is now a dampened ground for all sorts of trash. Our gutters are choked with both trash and silt, hence becoming breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Then comes in death traps such as malaria, typhoid, cholera, dysentery, measles, etc. The problem could be blame on poor leadership, lazy and irresponsible civil servants. As a matter the whole system is broken down. Corruption is the other of the day. Ghana, is sinking fast, and may God help.

Weird stories such as this one are common in Ghana because they fit well into our psyche, a psyche formed by superstition. Were we thinking well, the moment someone told us he/she crash-landed during a bodily flight, we would know immediately that the person is mentally sick. Even the picture presented by this poor woman indicates clearly that, she is out of her mind yet able-bodied men and women believe she was flying and crashlanded.
Superstition inherited from African fetishism has made most people confuse the spiritual and the physical. It is unfortunate that not even Christian, whose basis for belief is clearly recorded in the Bible, has been able to change these fetish believes. That is why we lack understanding that, witchcraftcy at least, is a spiritual phenomenom, not physical. Thus, it cannot be possible that, a witch will fly and travel with his/her physical body across any distance. If that were possible, why would they spend money travelling in vehicles or aircraft or even bother about visas? They would just fly to wherever they wish to go.
