    THE BUILDING WAS MARKED OUT FOR DEMOLITION AND IT WAS STILL STANDING TO KILL PEOPLE. NOW GO AND SEE HOW QUICK THEY WILL PULL IT DOWN.

    This is an accident.It can happen to anybody in any region. This is not an Ashanti Region problem alone. Poor workmanship with cheap building materials are the real reason for this.

    How do you pull a building that has already collapsed down? Maybe you mean clearing off the debris

    I love those old buildings with their beautiful crafted roofs. They have character and I hope the restoration will be in the style.

    Did you read the article? And it's not only the contents you missed. Have a good look at the photo - it's a "file photo" of a crumbling thatch roof house mostly found in English villages. Please read before you comment.

    Quite right. If you Google the image you get "The scene at a thatched cottage that has collapsed in Hayes Lane in East Budleigh" (Devon, England).

    A really weird choice of stock photo for the event.
